What is a cash ramp?

A cash ramp moves people between physical cash and digital dollars. With MoneyGram Ramps, a user pays cash at a MoneyGram location and receives USDC in their wallet (cash-in), or sends USDC from their wallet and collects local currency at a location (cash-out).

Which chains and assets are supported?

USDC on Solana and Stellar. Both chains use the Ramps widget SDK and API keys. Existing Stellar whitelist partners can continue on the legacy SEP-10 / SEP-24 path.

Where is it available?

Cash-out is available in 170+ countries and territories and cash-in in 25+ countries, across 480,000+ MoneyGram locations. Coverage varies by country; the coverage map on this page shows what each country supports.

Which US states are excluded?

Crypto services are not available in Alaska, Louisiana or Hawaii. MoneyGram is a licensed money transmitter in all 50 US states, D.C. and U.S. territories, and is registered with FinCEN as a money services business.

Do I need a money transmitter license?

No. MoneyGram is the licensed party and handles KYC, compliance, settlement and regulatory reporting for every transaction. Partners complete KYB and contract setup with MoneyGram before going live.
